   Quite misty eyed remembering Netscape Navigator with dial up, no cd's/ dvd's, 23 floppys to install Win 3.11, , 250K h/Drive, utilities compressing/ optomising 640K every three days, ecstatic with wolfenstien, DOOM was heaven, stunned by it's graphics..................    Why on earth should i get a mac ? So i can thousands for a machine i could build myself for hundreds? Then i can call it i-pc or something possibly. Anyways back on topic.
   I use IE on my windows machine but firefox on my linux machine. IE like windows has great support for just about everything hence why MS has nearly all the market share.

   Microsoft is a money making machine, but that is all that it cares about.
   
   For example, the Xbox 360. The console has reduced in price but you still have to buy wireless adapters, pay for online gaming, rechargeable packs etc etc.
   
   Most programs that microsoft make aren't actually that brilliant, their are many alternatives.
   
   (kinda off subject, sorry!)
