    Sadly I could not my vista machine work with NETSCAPE, firefox & thunderbird leave a lot to be desired. vista is a pain as well!

    I used to use netscape, preferred it to ie.
    Now use firefox. Try not to use ie if i can help it, only use it for webpages that will not load properly in firefox and my hotmail email account loads automatically into ie and there is no option for changing that.

    I thought Netscape was good when I used it with AOL many years ago. Microsoft has pushed out a good internet window!

    Little improvement in browsers since Netscape. More bells & whistles but Netscape was more than adequate for most needs.
