Earth: planet in peril?

Earth: planet in peril?

Are you concerned about our future? Or has the environmental apocalyse been wildly exaggerated? Do you think it's down to the government to limit our damage to the world or should the individual be responsible? Are you doing your bit or don't you really care?

offset schemes are just get rich schemes. just like all the rest of the global warming market. Looking after the planet is a good idea but its being used as a scam to make money by all. in the offset forest will there be an offset logger in latter years and the host company makes a ton of money lol, from our fear of global warming. it may be we are making it worse but thats probably down to billions of us eating and farting more gas than a car can pump out.

NOT THE PUBLIC WE HAVE GOT TO BUY MOST OF THE PRODUCTS CUS WE DonT HAVE A CHOICE EVERYTHING IS PACKED THAT WAY SO WE HAVE TO BUY IT.AND THEY SHOULD BE TAXING ALL THE OTHER BLOODY countRYS FORE THE POLLUTIon ITS NOT RIGHT MAKING US PAY FORE IT ALL THE TIME. It would seem that so long as there is so called"offset schemes" then the better of will just keep on doing what they have always done and to salve their conscience chuck a few quid at it. So yes we are not doing enough to use the energy we have, more efficiently. But and it's a big BUT, it will be the poorer folk who suffer disproportionately when the TAXES arrive.

i do but theres many people out there that dont give a toss(developers for one)
they see a patch of land and whithin 6 months theres houses on it.
there to many houses as it is,they only get filled with foreign types anyway.
theres only one problem these days and thats if you want to live anywhere decent in this country you need money and plenty of it.my ideal home would be somewhere(anywhere)where i wouldn"t have any neighbours and i mean none whatsoever as i"m sick of living next to idiots and gobs****s with no consideration for anybody and anything and who let their snotnosed brats do whatever they please

If the government are really worried about the environment they would do something about it instead of just putting more taxes on us. How do we know that it isn't a natural phenomenon we weren't around many of hundreds of years ago and neitehr was the research so we don't know that this didn't happen before.
