Earth: planet in peril?

Earth: planet in peril?

Are you concerned about our future? Or has the environmental apocalyse been wildly exaggerated? Do you think it's down to the government to limit our damage to the world or should the individual be responsible? Are you doing your bit or don't you really care?

Its quite simple. The world is over populated with humans. Until we the people realise we cannot go on continuously expanding then we have no chance of surviving in the long run. All spieces have a limit. We have wiped out many of the very special animals that lived here quite happily and we continue to do so. We polute the air and water and destroy the land all in the name of our own well being, money and sheer greed. I can only hope that the next generation of super bug which will survive so much better as the planet becomes more unstable thanks to global warming will wipe out most if not all humans save a few hidden away in remote areas. This in turn will allow the earth to start recovering if it is at all possible.
My only solution in the mean time is for all peoples, whatever race, colour, shape creed or nationality should wear a condom. You owe it to your planet. Remember, there isn't another one.

The planet is in the most danger from us, mankind just look at our track record. Destroy O-Zone layer, Destroy Eco-Sysytems, Nuke things, Then build a huge bomb under Geneva. Yep we are such a clever people aren't we. It is always to little to late. We should stand up and be counted and tell the people who are meant to be our voice that we don't want it anymore. They can give BILLIonS to the banks but do the same to save the planet.
We need more solar, wind, tidal power and less of things like the LHC. Why won't they do that? That's easy theres no money in it. That is the true driving force of mankind and it will be our downfall. We should be living and working to better mankind not the almighty DOLLAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(which ain't very mighty anymore)
