The proposed Climate Change Bill is the first of its kind in any country and according to Environment Secretary David Miliband, Britain is "leading by example".
Much of the Bill focuses on domestic buildings which account for 25% of UK emissions as opposed to aviation which only accounts for 5%.
What do you think of the Bill? Does it go far enough? Should we provide annual rather than five-year targets?
Look at the figures folks . We as a species put out less than 1%of the earths carbon emmissions . The oceans put out more than 90% . Its a good excuse for taxation . Check out the figures online for yourselves . We thimnk too much of ourselves if we think we can make a difference on this vast area .

The bomb that we the human race are all sitting on, has been ticking since the dawn of industrialisation and we need to act Now! to slow the problems with our climate change not dither in our own unique human form of indecisive Non Action.
Now the plan is to go into a manned space programme, now we know why we are being GREEN TAXED,so the government can afford to send up yet more rockets and add to the greenhouse gases. How much C.O. is released when a rocket goes up and will the fuel bill as usual come out of our taxes? Do as you ask us to do cut your CARBon FOOTPRINT. Hypocrites
the only reason they want it to take 50 years is so they can still keep the money rolling in!! in truth if they wanted the could dom it in ten years
