Is there another Earth out there?

According to astronomers, about half the planetary systems may have worlds where people could live. Current technology doesn't allow telescopes to see far enough for us to study these planets. However, in 15 years or less, we should have an answer.

Do you believe humans will ever inhabit another world? With the current threats of global warming and overcrowding, would you consider leaving Earth? If we colonised another planet, who should be allowed to go? How would we build civilisation from scratch? How could we prevent another global-warming catastrophe? And does this mean there may be aliens after all?

I think we will make contact with life on another planet in around 2025 , that is what scientists think !
But I also Think we Won'T because we have been looking for ages now and we haven't found any evidence that we will ! Also if we do make life with another planetit will take around 70 years to find us , so overall if we do make contact with life on another planet , it is going to take a while !
I hope you liked that and I hope it helped you on your learning if that is what you needed this for !

If there is another Earth out there, then we don't know about it, so we'd best look after the only one we've got. Even if we find another habitable Earth out there, what makes us think we'll be able to inhabit it? It too may have people on it, and why shouldn't it? And if that's the case, we probably wouldn't be welcome. Or, as we wouldn't have their inmune system and they ours, we'd probably kill off both worlds with a universally combined pandemic. Then, with no populations on either planet, all the trees and plants could grow back.

That depend on what you define as another arth.Congruent or capable of sustaining earth life?
    Congruent NO.
Capable of sustaining our life forms , more than likely, but a very long way away.

only humans are so conceited as to think they are the only inhabitants of this universe. Somewhere out there is a planet not only capable of sustaining human life but probably already does. I only hope they have more respect for their 'earth' than we do ours.
