   Seal hunting, what kind of a person can chase a small seal and club it to death, its sick. The reason seal hunting should be banned is that seals cannot defend themselves. If a human chased another with a club and battered them to death they would be sent to prison, if a human does it to a seal its ok.
   Wheres the logic in that? Ban seal hunting and club seal hunters to death!

   If seal overpopulation is depriving people of food then maybe they should eat the seals they kill and the fur will be a by-product. Fur and leather and so on should only ever be a by-product to man's survival and never, never a reason by itself. What happens to the dead seals after they have been skinned? I do not know. I do know that outsiders should not tell people not to do something that they believe they have a good reason to do and have been doing for ever without offering viable alternatives. What are the alternatives? I do not know that either. I will argue that a strong and experienced man clubbing a seal to death is a bit more humane and personal than killing people at the press of a button as modern warfare is inclined towards. one drawback is people get tired and then the death blow may not be so humane. Hopefully some authority is there to make certain these killers have proper rest periods and the quality of their work is always up to scratch? I could not kill an animal unless I needed to eat it.
