   I think I heard on Radio 4 that halal slaughter might be more humane because it is done quickly with a sharp knife. When animals are pre-stunned it may paralyse them but may not reduce the amount of pain they feel, just stop them showing it.

   strange breed us humans , happy to whack a seal, make it a pet or any other animal we will defend it tooth 'n' nail. when its poorly take it the vets in too much pain we put em out of there misery.family that a differant matter,in pain for month even years till they can't take it any more die. thats the humane way,iv never really got me head round that one

   some people are just so barbaric, if its not the seal they are killing, then it would be another species they'd be hunting down, and when they have killed everything that moves what then???? ITS ALREADY HAPPENNING!!!!
   THE onES THAT REALLY NEED TO BE PUT DOWN ARE THOSE THAT ARE DESTROYING EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD ABOUT OUR PLANET!
