Should we scrap British Winter Time?

Should we scrap British Winter Time?

According to a new survey turning the clocks back each year causes Britain to use much more energy than would otherwise be needed, and vastly increases our costs and carbon emissions.
In light of this information do you think that the time has come for British Winter Time to be scrapped? Would you welcome an end to it, and would you prefer the extra hour of daylight in the evening? Have your say.

If we put the clocks back by three hours will it still be light at 6pm?

Yeah keep british summer time, i prefer it and the winter months won't be as dark and dismal as they are at the moment with BWT(british winter time)

?? Erm.... winter will always come around (although this year one would think it never went anywhere), even if we don't change our clocks it will still be cold dark and miserable. I find it hard enough getting up when its still dark, i'd be zombified if it stayed dark for an extra hour. Why try and fix whats not broken?
