Should we scrap British Winter Time?

Should we scrap British Winter Time?

According to a new survey turning the clocks back each year causes Britain to use much more energy than would otherwise be needed, and vastly increases our costs and carbon emissions.
In light of this information do you think that the time has come for British Winter Time to be scrapped? Would you welcome an end to it, and would you prefer the extra hour of daylight in the evening? Have your say.

Let us have the same time as Europe.
Considerable tourist, business and safety advantages
1.An hour longer daylight in summer evenings would be a major tourist attraction. We don't need daylight at 4.00 am!
2.Road Safety Peiople say it would save lives on the roads with lighter evenings in winter.
2 Same time as Europe a geat advantage for business.
I believe last time MP's voted it was the Scots that swung the vote. Let Scotland have their own time Zone. - no problem. Other countries have several toime zones.
