A Panorama investigation has highlighted potential risks from wireless (Wi-Fi) networks. The programme found some classrooms had radio frequency radiation levels three times those of a mobile phone mast. While mobile masts are not permitted to be sited near schools, 70% of secondaries and 50% of primaries use wireless networks.
The levels are still 600 times below the Government's safety limits and the official line says there are no risks of adverse health effects. However, some scientists on the Panorama programme linked similar radiation levels with an increase in cases of cancer, short-term memory loss and lower concentration capacity.
Do you think it is time the Government held a proper investigation? Are you happy about your children being exposed to the radiation in schools? Is it time to unplug the Wi-Fi transmitter in your home? Have your say.
im more worried about repetetive strain injury than wi-fi..what a load of u know what!!!!
when will as seems above people stop being thick, nothing should come into the public domain before being studied and verified as safe to use first, the only problem there is all companies seem to put profit before safety, and then we have governments who just sit by and watch till somebody gets ill or dies before they get involved and even then only through public pressure being brought on them
show the proof that radition from wireless is harmfull if you cannot do it it cannot be harmfull,
our do we go back to the old days were we burn witches because we scared what we done know
Don't complain about it because they'll start taxing us on it! As for causing cancer..........anything causes cancer nowdays! They'll be telling us fresh air causes cancer next because it's not dirty enough!
Are you worried about wireless radiation?.... WOT!, when I am using a wireless computer to write this. LOL
