Are you worried about wireless radiation?

A Panorama investigation has highlighted potential risks from wireless (Wi-Fi) networks. The programme found some classrooms had radio frequency radiation levels three times those of a mobile phone mast. While mobile masts are not permitted to be sited near schools, 70% of secondaries and 50% of primaries use wireless networks.

The levels are still 600 times below the Government's safety limits and the official line says there are no risks of adverse health effects. However, some scientists on the Panorama programme linked similar radiation levels with an increase in cases of cancer, short-term memory loss and lower concentration capacity.

Do you think it is time the Government held a proper investigation? Are you happy about your children being exposed to the radiation in schools? Is it time to unplug the Wi-Fi transmitter in your home? Have your say.

Just got my wireless router, plugged it in for 10mins and I feel like I do when I've been on the mobile for too long i.e. really sick, headache etc. These things should be banned ! but if its technology, it seems to be excused from legislation somehow !

    flex99923 Your Right .
After i started switching my wi-fi off when i was not using it and only using my ethernet connection the headaches went away and apparently having the wi-fi signal on burns three times more power. using it as and when and keeping it switched off through your router settings is the one way of not having to worry. i would suggest dont sleep by a wi-fi clock radio mp3 player as you will wake up with your head tanned. But in reality you should not sleep next to any thing that is electrical anyway . In this world if it makes life eaiser or fun then it always turns out it's going to kill us. Does anyone know anyone who has been admitted to hospital because of their mobile phone yet. I thought not and we have all been using them for years now, if this was true then half the people we know would have brain tumours . Used right its safe. tv's were supposed to kill us and i dont know anyone who has died because they watched tv. ok a few channel five watchers but thats about it. so crank up the wi-fi but turn it off when you have finished. we dont leave the tap running do we when we have finished down loading our kettle full of water so why leave the wi-fi on. Most headaches recieved why using a pc are because you need glass's and dont know it. if you get headaches while using your pc go get your eyes checked. and No tft's dont mske you go blind. that due to good old fashioned old aging. it happens to everyone.
plus why is there not a topic on living.
being alive is dangerous because the longer you are alive the quicker you are going to die. should living be banned because it kills us.
