Are you worried about wireless radiation?

A Panorama investigation has highlighted potential risks from wireless (Wi-Fi) networks. The programme found some classrooms had radio frequency radiation levels three times those of a mobile phone mast. While mobile masts are not permitted to be sited near schools, 70% of secondaries and 50% of primaries use wireless networks.

The levels are still 600 times below the Government's safety limits and the official line says there are no risks of adverse health effects. However, some scientists on the Panorama programme linked similar radiation levels with an increase in cases of cancer, short-term memory loss and lower concentration capacity.

Do you think it is time the Government held a proper investigation? Are you happy about your children being exposed to the radiation in schools? Is it time to unplug the Wi-Fi transmitter in your home? Have your say.

There are many cases of business and governments being woefully slow to reconcile with the science in relation of health hazards cases, some of the better known ones being cigarette smoking and asbestos, thanks, largely to powerful commercial lobbying and sponsoring. This is just another case. But, like in those cases, there are people who deny it, say it's scaremongering or, often, have even claimed health benefits exist. The commercially biased "slow burn" manslaughterers / murderers says that specially selected micro-studies have not shown significan links to health damage. They only have to open up the limited parameters of their studies. For example to stop pretending theat a few years is sufficient timescale to draw health conclusion. The average Western adult lives around 70 years and their organic gene evolution counts millions of years. But this super wireless radiation (computer, mobile phone etc) technology has had less than 10 years of exposure to the masses. They have not proved no safety and no safety levels. The truth is we are the trial. Sadly again, for financial reasons, the telecoms industry and governments have chosen to make us the guinea pigs of a global and ongoing experiment....

I normally have a headache after long calls on my mobile held to my head. In this age of mass marketing, isnt it funny how hard it is to find up to date SAR data of current phone models.

This is just my humble opinion.

There is always a body who is against one item or another.
I bet its because they can not have any finacial gain from it. there is the answer BAN it. These people must think the whole country have not grown up and are still in nappies excepting themselves.
What right do they think they have been given and by whom to dictate to the rest of us.

no be serious these reports in inverted commas are just used as a training tool the same way eggs and salmonella were linked by one of these reports.
why dont they put the thousands of pounds they waste doing these into other causes like cancer or epilepsy research, or the reasons for still birth and looking after injured soldiers, and civil servants

Are you worried about radiation from wireless networks?
    No
