You are, of course, first in line to install Vista on your PC. Is it fun and easy to use, or another Microsoft product that falls short of the hype?
When I got my new computer I had loads of problems and blamed them on Vista, mainly internet dropping and kicking me off what i was doing.
I got a new Linksys router instead of the Belkin one and never had a single problem since. Although it did help when Virgin updated to Vista too.
Everybody needs to think back to the first days of XP,it had problems initially, until service packs came out. Vista is no different. I think Vista is great, I get very few problems..certainly non of the above mentioned.
Vista is awlful, its a big let down. I'm getting a MAC next, is we get more rubbish like Vista. I'm staying put with XP which is much better.
I am typing this using my new laptop ( 4 Months Old ) It came pre loaded with Vista. Straight out of the box it would take about 5/6 minutes to boot up, this extended to about 8/9 minutes once I started installing other software. The internet connection would drop out with no warning and to top it all it took up about 9 gig of hard drive space. I tried my best but on Friday I took it off and put XP on the computer. Yes it took a while to find the appropriate drivers. I now have a laptop that boots in about 1 minute, has not lost internet connection since installed and has only taken up about 1.8 gig of my hard drive. Vista has been truly awful for me and I have to say I am now really pleased with my laptop running XP.
its bollocks
