A new planet has been discovered circling a distant star 20 light years from Earth. The mean surface temperature is estimated to be between 0 and 40 degrees which could point to the presence of liquid water or indeed oceans.
Scientists believe conditions there may be right to support life. As yet the International Astronomical Union is only referring to it as Gliese 581c, but let's face it, that doesn't have much of a ring to it. What should it be called? Does it matter? Will we ever go there? Have your say!
Stay away you f@!king Earth B@!*ards!!! We've got too many immigrants as it is!!!!!!!
Lyndy - how do you think the NHS is paid for? Or schools? Or government? Or street lighting?
I could go on and on and on.
20 light years is an awfully long way when we have not yet learned how to travel faster than 20,000 or so miles per hour, and why should we try to reach such a planet in the first place?
no point in us going we would only f--k it up like we have our own planet.
we will cease to be anyway through our own stupidity.NOT LonG NOW 2012 IS JUST ROUND THE CORNER.
we could have come from another planet before earth and killed the other one we ame from
if so it means we havnt learnt from are mistakes
