A Nasa rover trawling Mars has sent back evidence that suggests the planet was once much warmer and wetter, and may even have supported life.
The findings are described as astonishing, but what do you think about our continued space exploration? When millions live in poverty, should we spend vast sums on space exploration? Do you think, given climate change, that the only way to secure mankind's future is to learn about other planets and conquer space travel? And is there really life out there or is Earth the universe's lucky fluke? Have your say.
Yes there is Life on Mars. I have been there and the guys are Fit,Fit,Fit.
i think there are other planets out there with life on them, but wont be found by us for many years. mars may have had some form of life, but why waste time & money now.theres too much to do on this planet.its 2008 & still povety & sencless wars.
Why should it not be, but life on Mars maybe so different that it is not recognized as life in the first place, for example based on a totally different chemistry than Earthly life.

It goes without saying that we need to know as much as we can find out about the place we live in, which includes the solar system and obviously Mars.
But men won't go to Mars because their chance of avoiding a solar storm and death by gamma rays in the long time it takes to get there and back are extremely small. So talk of going to Mars is just window dressing by politicians who know they won't be in power when the time comes to decide.
No - space exploration is not a waste of money,
No - conquering space, if that means people travelling to Mars, won't happen.
Yes, there may be primitive life out there, but is it waiting to be found? is it hell. .
There may be other intelligent life in the universe but far too far away for us to make any contact.
There is no such thing as mars because i have already bommed it and destroyed it.
