Are you worried about global warming?

Judging from our latest bout of crazy weather, global warming can't be ignored. Can alternative solutions such as nuclear, solar, or burying CO2 deep in the ground help? Are you worried by the threat? What do you think we should do?

Josie, come off it, people pay good money to go abroad just for weather like that, it must come in cycles, only i'd like to see another summer like that before a shake off this mortal coil. I remember in the forties summers sim, but not as long lasting as that, perhaps our boffins could enlighten us as to when its likely to occur again. I will never accept this so called global warming scam, ive seen all kinds of weather during my lifetime, even snow up to the top of doors, freezing winters with no snow, mild winters with rain, mild summers, its all a cycle nothing to do with our meagre contribution.

TN from m/cr, I hope not. I remember the summer of 1976 and I thought I was going to melt. It was horrible.

Can anyone remember what the winter of 75 was like, i'm just trying to work out when we will get the next stonker of a summer like 76! I just dont buy this global warming rubbish, its obvious even to a blind man that its a con. We've had a succession of mild winters, but a cold one is nothing out of the ordinary, so we must be due a good summer soon!

There is a prediction that things will continue to cool until 2035 .
I shiver thinking about it , but if its true the climate camp will have to ask themselves " does man really make any difference " ?
( it was a scientific opinion based on climate trends , although I take all predictions with a pinch of salt )

November was the coldest for three decades. We even had snow in October, on the day the Commons was debating its ludicrous, self-important 'climate change' bill. That was the same month China's official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its 'worst snowfall ever'. Across the world temperatures have plummeted. There was snow in Las Vegas this week. Much of North America has been hit by an ice storm. In Canada there's 30 per cent more ice than last year and the polar bears who are supposed to be on the brink of extinction are breeding at an alarming rate.
Mainstream politicians clamber on the band on the band wagon because it allows them to posture as self-righteous friends of the earth while giving them licence to raise taxes and spend public money.
