Are you worried about global warming?

Are you worried about global warming?

Judging from our latest bout of crazy weather, global warming can't be ignored. Can alternative solutions such as nuclear, solar, or burying CO2 deep in the ground help? Are you worried by the threat? What do you think we should do?

I was surprised to learn that the greenpeace morons who attacked and damaged a power station, were found not guilty by a jury of criminal damage, because they believed that they had a duty to `save the planet` from `global warming`!!!! Taking this to its logical conclusion, every yohgurt knitter could take this verdict to mean they have every right to damage 4x4`s etc. The fact that global warming is not proven, seems to have by-passed a typically gullible jury which was probably made up of left wing brain-washed guardian readers. The Attorney General will appeal the verdict, and hopefully, these idiots will end up where they belong, behind bars. or maybe we could put them on one of their greenpeace ships, anchor it off the French coast, and let the French deal with them like they did in the pacific

"This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, and it puts us back to where we were in 1930," Dr Chapman noted in The Australian recently."
    George Findlay says,
phyzx, Dr Phil Chapman got it right, he was basing his information on fact, and not attempting to forecast future atmospheric temperature variations that could possibly occur in the future.

How do the IPCC dismiss evidence of natural causes of climate change ?
Well its in their remit too .
    George Findlay says,
phyzx, bogus scientists enjoy projecting aberrant mathematics as an answer to any subject such as earth's natural elements. The natural activity of Earth's atmosphere is unpredictable, the coriolis effect ensures constant movement of the atmosphere and there is no balanced formula than can offer a verifiable explanation to erratic atmospheric temperature variations. The arid regions of tropical land mass play a major part in atmospheric temperature changes, the land heat created by the sun is unpredictable and stored, must be seriously considered and not ignored as the pro global warming faction tend to do, very significant indeed.

November was the coldest for three decades. We even had snow in October, on the day the Commons was debating its ludicrous, self-important 'climate change' bill. That was the same month China's official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its 'worst snowfall ever'. Across the world temperatures have plummeted. There was snow in Las Vegas this week. Much of North America has been hit by an ice storm. In Canada there's 30 per cent more ice than last year and the polar bears who are supposed to be on the brink of extinction are breeding at an alarming rate.
Mainstream politicians clamber on the band on the band wagon because it allows them to posture as self-righteous friends of the earth while giving them licence to raise taxes and spend public money.

Good post George , the met office could not predict a hurricane 3 hours away . ( never mind the 3 day fiascoes / I mean forecasts )
    George Findlay says.
phyzx, a similar scenario as gravity, astronomers are stuck with this unverified theory and refuse to face reality simply because there is nowhere else to go. Over the recent years NASA has concluded it knows little about the force of gravity and there may be an unknown repulsive force in the universe responsible for expansion. They are admitting the truth at last, (although they have known all along) and despite upsetting many astronomers, who generally are not scientists, and without theoretical gravity every one of their theories relating to the universe are hopelessly out of date. A slight hint to others that it is absolutely essential that you acquire the ability to think for yourselves.
As you say phyzx, easy peasy.
