   Another interesting site is the cryosphere today site . It shows satellite photo's of the polar ice sheets , growing ( a lot ) .

   The first sun spot of the new solar cycle has just appeared , ( hurrah ) Its called 1010 , ( phew ) we just went 2 months with no sun spots . Could be why its chilly .
   Global warming / climate chaos , is just a scam to tax the world with .
   Fight it and the criminals behind it .
   Peaceful non co operation , seems to work quite well .

   I'm no scientist but I believe there is just so much rubbish spoken about global warming that we only need to look outside to see that if anything its global cooling! on the other hand everyone in the media hypes up moderately sub-zero temperatures as being "Arctic" - do they have any idea what Arctic actually means? Temperatures in the Arctic right now are -40C and adding in the wind chill factor that takes us to -60C! What do we have in the south -5C ? The only real hardship this raises is the need to scrape windscreens and watch and not fall on your backside. We are such a bunch of wimps, headline seekers and even worse headline believers. Let's get on with our lives and try to avoid over-reacting to the doommongers who no doubt also wrongly said we'd face meltdown at the millenium. There are too many people with too much time on their hands trying to think up useful advice advice they can give people who neither need it, want it nor will ever benefit from it.
   If these people are really really sure that vehicle and aircraft emissions, amongst other things are the cause of weather change then they should lobby the Chinese and the Indians since uk output of globally harmful emissions is a tiny fraction of such countries' output. Go and do something really useful - sort them out. Beating up the uk only increases our costs and makes our industries even more uncompetitive. Well done tee huggers - we'll all soon be so poor and cold we'll have to cut down those trees to generate heat to keep warm - global warming? Bo--ocks.
