Are you worried about global warming?

Are you worried about global warming?

Judging from our latest bout of crazy weather, global warming can't be ignored. Can alternative solutions such as nuclear, solar, or burying CO2 deep in the ground help? Are you worried by the threat? What do you think we should do?

YOU recently asked me to provide evidence the actions of humans had contributed to climate change. Does this suffice? Your favourite author too. Read the last paragraph TWICE!
on January 2007 Professor Hawking said. "As scientists, we understand the dangers of nuclear weapons and their devastating effects, and we are learning how human activities and technologies are affecting climate systems in ways that may forever change life on Earth.
"As citizens of the world, we have a duty to share that knowledge. We have a duty, as well, to alert the public to the unnecessary risks that we live with every day, and to the perils we foresee if governments and societies do not take action now to render nuclear weapons obsolete and to prevent further climate change."
The article concludes,"As in past deliberations, we have examined other human-made threats to civilisation. We have concluded the dangers posed by climate change are nearly as dire as those posed by nuclear weapons. The effects may be less dramatic in the short term than the destruction that could be wrought by nuclear explosions, but over the next three to four decades climate change could cause drastic harm."

ref the ealier post about the amount of flushing to get rid of a huge turd. I once had to break up a mammouth log with a firework stick, thus saving on flushing, and saving the world

"I have confidence in the scientists who tell us global warming is occuring because the evidence is clear but I wouldn't expect you to believe it George Findlay because if I remember correctly, you don't believe in the existence of "gravity" either."
    George Findlay says;
Perhaps I should include the names of the scientists mentioned in my earlier contribution.
Albert Einstein questioed Isaac Newtons theory of gravity and introduced his own theory, (Special & General relativity).
The other intellectual was of course Stephen Hawking .
His comments were published in a popular science magazine 27-11-04).
    As follows.
"A strictly scientific search for a theory of everything seems doomed. Mathematical theories do not exist on their own, and there seems no way of "Breathing fire into the equations"- of acounting for the existence of the cosmos from purely mathematical facts. We need a richer idea of reality.

neil; my contributions to the forum are based on verifiable evidence not theories promenaded by intellectual nit wits as fact.
My evidence relating to limited human contribution to atmospheric pressure is accurate and well founded.
My altenative to gravity is Magnetically polarized hemispheres, atmospheric pressure, planetary and star rotation, plus velocity.
Our moon is orbiting the earth rotating as it does so and follows earth's orbital path round the sun at speed of approximately 70.000mph.
Velocity on the moons surface substitutes atmospheric pressure, and the moon retains a weak magnetically polarized hemispheres. My
evidence relating to my rejection of theoretical human contribution to atmospheric temeperature has been explained on the forum many times. As a well known intellectual stated and his comments published.
Mathematics alone cannot offer an explanation, they also need support from reality. Not quite his published words, but close enough to portray his meaning.
neil put your evidence relating to unverifiable G force gravity on the board and we will consider your evidence.
Isaac Newton originally theorised gravity and and the theory was questioned by a well known scientist hundreds of years later, who theorised an alternative which included magnetism.
