According to a team of researchers, the Yangtze River Dolphin in China has recently become extinct - a victim of rapid industrialisation. All over the world many other species are under threat often as a result of over-hunting or the destruction of their natural habitats. Are governments around the world doing enough to prevent endangered species from becoming extinct? If not, what should they be doing?
countries like China have no controls on pollution, over fishing, agri-chemicals and other enviromentally damaging activities. They also exploit their workers and put decent hard working British people on the dole, because our government hasn't got the guts to put up proper tariff barriers against them.
BOYCOTT THEM!
Best we chop down all the trees in Downing Street and disterb Labours' natural habitat.
There is definitely not enough being done around the world and because of this lack of interest we are in danger of losing some very unique species... It would seem that animals are insignificant where Man is concerned... What an appalling scenario.. Positive action is needed right now folks...
SAZGO-TA..
Awww i anymore extinct animals and i love dolphins. i think people should do more to help these animals from getting harmed like build a temperary home for them to go incase what we are doing may harm them.
Although we are doing something through research and conservation, alot more needs to be done in order to stop other species from extinction.I feel strongly that things need to be done.
