According to a team of researchers, the Yangtze River Dolphin in China has recently become extinct - a victim of rapid industrialisation. All over the world many other species are under threat often as a result of over-hunting or the destruction of their natural habitats. Are governments around the world doing enough to prevent endangered species from becoming extinct? If not, what should they be doing?
Dear all,
As you may have noticed, we've switched our comment boards to reactive moderation. This means that we don't moderate every post on the site. However, the same rules apply as before and we will remove anything inappropriate. If you're concerned or offended by a post, please don't hesitate to use the ‘report violation’ link at the end of each comment. As soon as you let us know, we can look into the matter. Please note that all reports are completely confidential.
Inevitably, some boards are more problematic than others and there will be instances where we will put certain boards into a pre-moderated state (meaning that we read and allow/block everything before it appears on the site). When a board is pre-moderated you will see a notice of this at the beginning of the board.
Most of all enjoy your time here (and don't forget that report link if you're not)
Best wishes,
CM
