According to a team of researchers, the Yangtze River Dolphin in China has recently become extinct - a victim of rapid industrialisation. All over the world many other species are under threat often as a result of over-hunting or the destruction of their natural habitats. Are governments around the world doing enough to prevent endangered species from becoming extinct? If not, what should they be doing?
I agree with you wholeheartedly Steve.
No we're not doing enough..it's madness the way we're destroying everything with no regard for the damage we do..there's a thought that people should bear in mind..when we've destroyed everything else what will we destroy then..ourselves? We're good at that...David Attenborough said.."We don't own this planet..we share it with the animals" we're all part of a massive web..we keep destroying parts of it we'll eventually destroy ourselves..pathetic isn't it..1000's of years of evolution and we're regressing faster and faster..we've learnt nothing.
I love all animals.I was upset to hear about the dolphin.I hope to go on holiday to see them sometimes, before i die,but that is a dream.I won't buy anything made in china. They do the most cruel things to animals.plh.
